Hannah Bower
Sweat Is Gold

Hello! My name is Hannah. I am 26 years young. I am not a bodybuilder, but an enthusiast for health; both physically and mentally. Healthy is a lifestyle!

Early Stages

I grew up in a household where sports were a big deal. I competed in gymnastics, diving, and track and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln recruited me to compete in collegiate gymnastics.

I started struggling with image and weight my last 2 years of high school. In college, the struggle to lose weight worsened and so did my self-love. I battled borderline eating and workout disorders. My self-esteem was non-existent.

I had a career-ending injury when I dislocated both elbows simultaneously and needed reconstructive surgery. My world hit rock bottom and I had an identity crisis. The thing I truly loved was swept away from me and I didn’t know who I was anymore.

I began to gain weight and was even more ashamed of who I was. As a result, I battled depression and fell into toxic relationships. I believed I was a failure.

I gained close to 40 lbs. in a year. It wasn’t until I had a car accident that should have killed me, did I finally see my value. This event kickstarted my weight loss journey, but more importantly my love journey. I learned transformations start from within and through self-love.

A few years later, I decided to start an Instagram account so I could share the light that changed my life and led me where I am today. I currently coach gymnastics, and I’m a fitness enthusiast.

Career Start

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine, and I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I’ve combined everything I learned while growing up, through my education, and what I have learned on my own journey to help others! I would be honored if I could help you realize just how amazing you truly are. You are worth it and you deserve happiness!
